Board & Ambassador Positions

Another great way to volunteer is by joining our board of directors or become an ambassador.

Board 

Board members provide leadership and oversight to help Bridge Haven remain strong, sustainable, and focused on our mission.

Board members may:

  • Help guide organizational goals and decisions

  • Support fundraising and community partnerships

  • Provide professional knowledge and perspective

  • Advocate for Bridge Haven in the community

We welcome individuals with experience in finance, law, business, marketing, HR, nonprofit leadership, construction, or other areas, as well as community members who are passionate about our mission.

Fundraising Committee Ambassador

Fundraising Ambassadors help connect Bridge Haven with donors, businesses, and community members who want to support our mission.

You may help with:

  • Fundraising campaigns and events

  • Building relationships with donors and supporters

  • Connecting Bridge Haven with local businesses

  • Sharing our mission in the community

  • Identifying new fundraising opportunities

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys networking, fundraising, events, or connecting people to a cause.

Program & Business Development Committee Ambassador

PBDCA's connect Bridge Haven with businesses, organizations, and community resources that can benefit the women and families we serve.

You may help with:

  • Developing community and business partnerships

  • Connecting Bridge Haven with helpful resources and services

  • Identifying opportunities for program growth

  • Building relationships with community leaders

  • Supporting collaborations and new initiatives

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys networking, relationship-building, business development, or community involvement.

Public Relations Committee Ambassador

Public Relations Ambassadors help more people learn about Bridge Haven, our mission, and ways to get involved.

You may help with:

  • Promoting Bridge Haven in the community

  • Sharing upcoming events and opportunities

  • Helping with outreach and communications

  • Building relationships with community members

  • Sharing stories about Bridge Haven’s impact

Events Committee Ambassador

Events Ambassadors help organize fundraising and community events that bring people together, raise awareness, and support our mission.

You may help with:

  • Planning and organizing events

  • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers

  • Event setup, logistics, and day-of support

  • Brainstorming event ideas

  • Helping create a welcoming experience for guests

Property Cleanup Committee Ambassador

Property Cleanup Ambassadors help organize seasonal cleanup, landscaping, and beautification projects at Bridge Haven properties.

You may help with:

  • Organizing property cleanup days

  • Recruiting volunteers for larger projects

  • Landscaping and seasonal yard work

  • Identifying cleanup or maintenance needs

  • Coordinating supplies and project needs
